“Excellent trip and big shout out to my guide (ange/Angie) not sure how to say her name. She made such an effort to explain to me and the other non Spanish speaker about the area/history and everythijg we needed to know and was very kind with helping in general. Yes with this trip you do spend a long time on the bus but the scenery and stop points are outstanding. Would say maybe the lunch break doesn’t need to be 2 hours. Would rather have started 7.30/8am and had a shorter lunch than started 6.30am, but this is minor and I had a nice day.”

“I loved this tour; it was great. Learned a lot about Argentine wine, especially since I didn’t have time to go to Mendoza. (I’m sorry, I forgot her name. She’s an employee of the winery.) I was the only one who would need English interpretation, but I understand a lot of Spanish just don’t speak it well. So we agreed that she’d interpret for me if I asked whenever I didn’t understand, which she did. They accommodated my vegetarian diet and made sure I had a great time which I did. Transport was convenient and good.”

“Tour started with intro to the Winery and its history, with tastings offered on 3 wins - all beautiful. The wines were all perfectly balanced to reflect a time of day; a breakfast, a lunch and a dinner wine :) Unfortunately the bike was broken down on the day but we were offered an olive oil tasting in lieu, which was awesome! Beautifully accompanied by delicious bread. Then on to the lunch at another winery with a quick tour and tasting of a number of their reds. The lunch was a 4 course meal that we struggled to finish, but so so good. Overall, would recommend as a great way…”

Buenos Aires: Palacio Barolo Guided Night Tour with Wine - Reading Dante in Buenos Aires Stone and Decoration

Buenos Aires: Palacio Barolo Guided Night Tour with Wine

12.Buenos Aires: Palacio Barolo Guided Night Tour with Wine

★★★★★★★★★★4.4 · 54 reviews · from $90

Spend 90 minutes exploring Palacio Barolo after dark with a bilingual Spanish-English guide. Learn how the building connects to Dante’s Divine Comedy, admire its Art Nouveau and Art Deco details, ride 14 floors, then climb eight narrow stair floors to the lighthouse. Finish with a glass of Palacio Barolo red or Beatrice Portinari white wine.

“It was an amazing place to see and very unique to see the city up top inside the light turret. The guide was very informative and was excellent at explaining in both Spanish and English for the group. I would recommend an evening tour as you get excellent reviews. But be prepared to walk up 8 narrow flights of stairs to reach the top. It's worth it, but the stairs only wind round and it's not too strenuous. However, keep your head down if tall until you reach the top. It's a good example of art deco style.”

“We had a really good few hours visiting 3 different wineries. On the first one, Bodega La Rural, we were 2 of 12 and everyone apart from us spoke Spanish. The guide did a pretty good job of making us feel included and took the time to give us some facts in English. Bodega La Rural is more of a distillery and museum than winery, and it was very interesting to learn about the history and how wine is distilled. Since we’d booked through GYG we were given an extra glass of wine to taste. Our second stop to Tempus Alba was a fabulous experience and our guide was extremely…”
